The Best of Weddings award is the result of a survey conducted by the Knot magazine in 2006, polling their recent brides and asking them to rate and provide commentary about the various services they utilized for their weddings.  The results were published in the premier issue of the magazine “Best of Weddings” in 2007. For the purposes of this survey, the country was divided into regions; Michigan, Wisconsin, Minnesota, and Illinois comprised the region called the Upper Midwest. This rating included all vendors used (not just those who advertise with the Knot.). Our category was called “Bands and DJs.”  To gain mention in the magazine a company needed to achieve an overall satisfaction rating of at least 85 out of 100. The very top rated companies were listed separately and received a “Best of Weddings” award.  With an overall rating of 98 out of 100, Rick Reuther’s Music Host Productions was the highest rated Disc Jockey company in Michigan!
